I.P. Pavlov – the First Nobel Prize Winner in Russia. V. 2. Pavlov without Retouching (Reminiscences of S.V. Pavlova, A.F. Pavlov, M.K. Petrova) / Comments by

It’s well known, that the most complete biographies of I. P. Pavlov were written in honour of the 100th anniversary of his birth (1949). Realities of that historical period required that biographies to describe Pavlov as a unique, sinless, correct and even obeying law person, as a standard formed exclusively on the Russian background. Today some things look different. This edition presents uncensored reminiscences of his most familiar persons – his wife S.V. Pavlova, unpublished memories of his second nephew A.F. Pavlov who was living in Pavlov’s family for four years, and memoirs of his close collaborator M.K. Petrova. Many of detailed comments and the first time published photographs are included.
For a wide range of readers interested in memories and history of physiology and medicine.
