Vocabulary Revision and Expansion Exercises
Exercise 1. Some clothes and accessories are countable (a dress) and some are uncountable (trousers). Look at the words in the box and put them in two columns: Countable (C) and Uncountable (U).
Exercise 2. Do the Fashion Maze in pairs and decide what kind of person is your partner: a fashion victim or a slob.
II. Grammar section
Present Continuous.
Exercise 1. Continue the following sentences in the negative.
Example: Mother is talking on the phone. (sleep) – She isn’t sleeping.

Exercise 2. Answer the questions using the words in brackets.

Exercise 3. Match the beginning of the sentence on the left with the appropriate ending on the right.
Exercise 4. Read about Mark. Then fill in the gaps with the words from the box.
Present Continuous and Present Simple.
Exercise 5. Bill (5 years old) is having a bad dream. Everything is wrong! Look at the two lists below. Fill in the gaps in the sentences. Use Present Simple and Present Continuous.
Example: Bill usually has a shower, but today he’s having a cold bath.
Exercise 6. Put the verbs in the brackets into Present Simple or Present Continuous.
