The monograph deals with evolution of basic schools of economic thought as contrasted with legal theory. Special attention is given to confrontation of basic legal principles (equality, justice, rule of law) with leading dogmas of classical economic theory (market self-adjustment, freedom of enterprise, etc.). The author concludes that the basic legal principles are more correlated with non-orthodox economic teachings (Marxism, Institutionalism) as compared with dominant dogmas of «economics».
The book is intended for students and postgraduates studying law, economics and sociology.
