The author of the present work is Irina Victorovna Drobyazkina, candidate of law, senior lecturer of the department of civil procedure of Saratov State Law Academy, head of the department of civil-law disciplines of Povolzhsky (Saratov) Law Institute (Branch of the Institute) SEI HVE of Russian Law Academy of the RF Justice Ministry.
The work deals with the place of international civil procedure in the system of Russian law, analyses the problems of establishment of legal status of foreign legal entities and natural persons, the procedure of consideration of civil cases with a foreign element, and the issues of recognition and execution of foreign court decisions. The normative base of the research consists of multilateral conventions, bilateral contracts concluded on behalf of the RF or in force for Russia in accordance with legal succession. The analysis of operation of the norms of international treaties in the regulation of national civil and arbitration court proceedings is based on the provisions of contemporary Russian legislation.
The book is addressed to researchers, professors, post-graduates, and student of law schools, law-enforcement officers, and everybody who is interested in international civil procedure.
